preparing for the worst day of the year

This article on the BBC News Web site states that, according to a formula developed by a part-time tutor at Cardiff University, January 24th, 2005 will be the worst day of the year.

For those who are mathematically inclined, the formula is as follows:


1/8W + (D-d) 3/8 x TQ M x NA

Where:

W: Weather
D: Debt
d: Money due in January pay
T: Time since Christmas
Q: Time since failed quit attempt
M: General motivational levels
NA: The need to take action


Maybe somebody should have a "Worst Day of the Year" party. I find that nothing gets me out of a funk faster than engaging in some commonly regarded unhealthy behaviors. Hmmm...
